Please post harvests with selfbows

I am taking a class to make one for myself in March. Going to be a bamboo backed osage. Was wanting to see what kind of success other members were having with theirs
Ben Pearson Cougar 40#
PSE Black Hawk T/D 55#
Bamboo backed Osage Self bow 57#
Ivory Hunter 60#

For clarity's sake alone, I offer the following.  A bamboo backed osage bow is not a selfbow; it is a composite or backed bow.  A selfbow is one working material back to belly.  Aesthetic backings (snakeskins) are not working materials.

That being said, good luck on your build.  GO to the "Bowyer's Bench" section of TradGang and show us some pics along the way.

P.S. I have a red oak board bow that I'm wanting to hunt with.  I'm just unsure of it's effectiveness.

I have a pig nut hickory, the stuff makes a really good bow if it is dry enough, as in super dry.  I have a few pictures of deer and small game taken with it, but they are film pics.
