writting on bows

i have an older used bow that i want to write my sons name on.  what type of "pens" are most bowyers using to write on bows??  fine point paint pens??

Here' what I use

once it dries spay some krylon crystal clear acrylic on it, than you can cover it with pretty much anything.

Thanks for that link Mike.I have to mark an occasional bow refinish but I see some other colors that will work great for some other projects.I just hadn't been able to find colors in the real fine markers.

Those work good. Just check your spelling before you writt anything. You have to sand it off.

try a micro point sharpie in Metallic silver, wrote on my  longbows and it worked fine! Then cover with polycrylic etc!

Craft stores have some decent paint pens... Like siver or gold metalic and even colors...
