I just bought one.Should work out fine for ground
hunting. You can set-up some ambush spots a head of time.Easy to setup and comfortable.A bit pricey though.

neat idea, but in my experience if it dont have a back rest, I cant sit very long. If you get one, let us know what you think.

I have used one for 2 years now.Very adjustable easy to use and silent. I try to set up my ground blinds so that I can use this seat. When I can't I have a Torges style tree seat that I have modified with a pad and made it wider than the original so my butt fits it better. The smart seat packs well and is pretty comfy.......I really like it!!!

I've been thinking about something like that or something like this...
http://arrowheadequipment.webs.com/apps/webstore/products/show/928496
or something like this...
My thing is, I'm not sure about shooting a longbow out of any of them. Anyone have any experience hunting with trad gear from one?
The Torges seat is my goto when I'm stand hunting but it makes my butt go to sleep. I'm really digging the looks of the bushcraft one and I'd think one could leave premade tripods at several stand locations for practically no money (just what you spend on 550 cord). One could make the seat material with some jute hanging from it - ghillie style - and if it's shallow enough, *maybe* shoot a longbow from it.

I may get one for 2011 spring turkey. I am sick of using the three leg stool. hurts my butt after 30 minutes or more.

If ya want to try out a real comfy seat that straps to the tree, or I even used it just on the ground. It's a Millenium M300 Tree Seat. They have tree stands too, but I don't climb anymore. Charlie Lamb turned me onto these last year. You can see 'em at...
