Straightening FINISHED Woodies

I use the following tools to straighten, hook, Ace roller, aluminum arrow dial straightener.  The dial is very easy and more accurate than the others.  I have an arrow spinner and also use my eye, roll on a table or the dial on my straightener to check.

My test arrows get shot and shipped, used and abused quite a bit.  I'm able to pressure (hook) straighten them if needed without any apparent issues to my poly finish.  I use a hook of my own design and manufacture along with a very good arrow spinner and can usually get them straight enuf that there is no visible runout.

One thing to be remembered with wood arrows, if they can be straightened, they can be bent.  Grab them close to the target and pull straight back.
