I got the HSS a few yrs back, but it was too heavy so gave it to a friend for a XMAS present.

If I get another one it will be a Muddy. Use one that came with a Summit, it's light and serves my purpose.

GET MUDDY! If you buy a Muddy Outdoors Harness you get EVERYTHING you need all in one package and it is lightweight and easy to put on.  I will never buy anything else.

Yes, please explain in detail the fall rope. Would it be a line attached to a belt around the tree and your lanyard in addition to the linesmans belt?

I have the muddy outdoors harness and love it.  The safety harness isn't complete unless you use a safety line that is installed on the tree when you hang the stand and I think this is what the fall rope reference is about.  You clip your harness to this safety line using an ascender or prussic loop and are safe from the ground to the stand and back.  Most falls occur in the transitions to/from the stand and this setup gives you safety all the way.

Lots of threads on pow-wow about this.  Do a search for safety line or prussic knot and you'll get a bunch.

Here's a sample:
