I go away for the weekend and folks are already talking about me.

Thanks everyone. That buck was really special to me because it was killed with some good friends. And that is one of the small ones.   :D

Woodduck, That bucks is an average 2 1/2 year old for my area. They look real good when they get about 5 years old.

Yep, beautiful buck Chad.  And part of a classic TG story line as well.  Doesn't get any better than that!

Mickey...did you say two people in that pic?  I only see Charlie with his bow and a Super Shrew leanin on that bush!

Now that second picture of the 4 of ya and that mysterious bush is the one I remember.  Is that Chili droppings on that bush?  :goldtooth:

Heck i can't be selective. I just have to find people that don't have enough common sense to stay way from me. This the group i came up with. Old farts who are starting to get senile!  :knothead:

Vance, When ya coming back?

The other thing about Chad is he can flat out SHOOT.  Now, I ain't a bad shot, but I shot with Chad at Cloverdale and the fact is, the boy DON'T MISS!!

Period.

Alright guys your gonna make me blush. At cloverdale i had one of those rare occasions where my shooting was ON two days in a row. And i was still complaining cause i thought i should be shooting better. Guess i expect too much.

Now for Terry's comment. I'm lucky to hunt where there are some nice deer which makes killing them alot easier. It's real hard to kill big ones if there ain't any. Plus i put alot of time into scouting. That couple with the fact that i have a great wife who lets me hunt 5+ days a week adds up to more oppotunities. No real secret to it, just putting in the time.
