Maxpedition monsoon sling pack

Just curious if anyone have owned one of these?
Thought the pack would be perfect for a right hand shooter.
Also comes in a camo version

I have several Maxpedition items I am impressed with all of their items, as they are very well made.

My only complaint is they are stiff and noisy when new they need to be broken in before using to hunt with. I have hand washed my pack then tumble dried on LOW heat for a bit to soften them up.

Other then that first class eqpt.

I have 2 Maxpedition bags...a Gearslinger and a Ramora.

The stuff is definitely hardcore. Outlast anything anybody can make.

Problem is, its loud stuff. A twig scraping up against it or a branch slapping it really makes that material sing.   Its just not a soft enough material to be quiet enough for hunting, no matter how slow you're moving.

I like em...and I use em..just not really made for huntin.

Good to know! silence IS golden allright... Just think it has all the features one would need -might try the tumble dry approach.

they are a great quality product but in my experience , and I own a bit of their stuff it is pretty loud in the bush .
It may be a bit smaler but I use a Bison Gear Houndsman . A great product built to up close on animals !
They are a sponsor and Angelo is great to work with .

Maxpedition makes excellent products at a great value.  The material is noisy in the brush but that's the trade off for an absolutely bombproof product.  For stand or blind hunting it's not an issue.  If you're looking for something to slip along silently with you through the brush, Bison Gear would be a better choice.
