Hello,

I'm new to this forum and new to traditional archery.

I've recently ordered a bow from a very reputable bowyer and can't wait to get my hands on it and start flinging some arrows.

I've been reading quite a bit on this site and I've found it highly informative with a never ending supply of excellent advice aimed at newbies such as myself.

Not new to archery.  Been bowhunting with a compound for 20yrs.

I've finally decided to take the next step and learn how to be efficient with trad equipment.

Looking forward to it!

Enjoy the journey.  It is great fun and always something to learn!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Great Fun is an understatement... Once you learn the "right way" to shoot and have your arrows and bow tuned up you are gonna see that this Trad Stuff will be the best time spent with your clothes on!

Welcome! You're in a great state, I envy you. Lots of Tradganger's out your way, and one of the top bowyers in the country, Big Jim.

No complaints about my beloved Georgia!  Born and raised here!

Thanks for the welcome and when I get my new bow in a month or so, I'm sure I'll be on here regular asking a multitude of questions about what I'm doing wrong......  :D

Again, this is a fantastic web board!
