Arizona easy fletch?

Has anyone used this fletcher with wood arrows, especially shafts as big as 23/64?  Also, anyone used it with 23/64 tappered to 5/16?  I think this fletcher is best used with skinny carbons ... I am looking for trad gang opinions.

I love my EZ Fletcher!!!!

 If you buy the standard model not meant specifically for carbons, you can do a multitude of arrow sizes. I've done 1816's up to 2216's. I also fletched some tapered cedars that were 11/32 down to 5/16.  The standard models have the green arms and the carbon specific models have blue ones.

I love them because they fit easily into travel gear and it takes about 15-20 minutes for a whole arrow.  You might be able to whip them out faster but I like to let the glue dry for a while.

I had all the sizes at one point - I never liked them with feathers. I never need to fletch "on the go" so it really served no purpose for me.

imo, the az e-z fletch is just ok.  a single vane polycarb fletcher will be much cheaper at about half the cost, and more versatile in terms of setting feather offsets or helical (or straight), and seating pressure.  using fletch tape makes single vane fletching almost as fast as doing three at a time.  in terms of portability, any single vane jig is small enuf.

Im sure that lots of guys would not be impressed with my arrows, but I've fletched dozens of dozens with my az. over the years, and I'm real happy with it.

My biggest complaint with the Arizona is that you can't get at the feathers while the arrow is in the jig. If a little glue oozes out, you can't just wipe it off before it sets. You can end up either glueing the jig shut or having ugly glue lines. Whith a single vane jig, even if you did manage to glue the clamp to the feather, you're able to cut it free fairly easily.
