Oh no Tommy.  I was counting on you to teach me "the handshake" this weekend.  Maybe your dad can help me out!?!?

OK so the plan is set ...here it goes ...after the bidness meetin, there will be a sign...on a table... that says ...trad gang lunch... repeat after me... trad gang lunch...sit down...shut up.. tip the wench that serves us... got it??

maybe the worlds most interesting bowhunter and his sweet little honey will be there, actually her name is michelle, and a really nice gal, just poor taste in husbands;) ;)  ;)  hope so.. they were a lot of fun last year.

It will be the who's who of bowhunting, Gary Renfro will be there (if he can pause being Gary for a few minutes) and his lovely bride Connie,

most of the CTAS board will be there, remember RULE #2 NO POLITICS
and a few drifters will show up , ( and yes the 7 year wait is up soon)

no warrants, restraining orders,  or tax issues will be presented for personal or political  gain,

see rule # 2

which brings us back to Rule # 1...
no friken name tags...crikes if you dont know who you are by now ...please go to bass pro shops I think they can help you,
I always got a kick out of name tags, I would write George W Bush on mine, it brought a lot of strange looks...WTF?? cant take a joke?
name tags are a poor excuse for common courtesy
whats wrong with this?

"Hi I am Joe Scmuck from Colorado, glad to meet you"

instead you go around staring at each others chest going...I knew that was Joe Scmuck...

so there you have it, CTAS trad gang lunch rules and regs for 2011, hope to see you there!!!!

I had a great time.

The highlight of the banquet for me was when I got to meet George W. Bush.  I didn't know he was a bowhunter.  He looked a little different than he did on TV but name tags don't lie.

I did really enjoy listening to Don Thomas and my son received his first timer award.  Thanks to all who worked hard to make it a great banquet.

Sorry to have missed it this year too. Hope Fugi passed along my apologies for not being there.  Guess things work out - ended up getting called to Omaha the Thursday prior to the banquet for my mother in law being hospitalized.  She passed away this last Tuesday.  So, all in all it was a good thing I was back here.  Craig
