Thanks again to everyone for all of your kind words. This thread is yet another example of why I prefer to work in the traditional "industry" rather than for companies and individuals who put profit and pursuit of "celebrity" over passion. I discovered a long time ago that those who seek extreme challenge and have a true sense of history are my "comrades at arms", so to speak. Simply put, you all "get it".
By the way, I just finished tuning my new bow which took perhaps 5 minutes. No kidding, the bow was grouping bare shafts quicker than any bow I've ever set up. It was if it was saying "Let's end this foolishness I'm ready to go hunting!"

I forgot to mention how well the bow matched up with the accessories I had on standby, all made by TG sponsors, the new Kanati angle quiver, Art Vincent armguard and side quiver, plus a new set of custom wraps made by OneStringer (with my "Fred Bear Fletchings". They all look great. Heck, I guess I need to post at least one more photo showing it rigged with all of the TG sponsor stuff:^)!

Mine TT is coming up on the list soon, but you're making me anxious. That's a beautiful bow and I know it means a lot to you. Here's to your Dad.

I took the bow next door for Dad to see, assuming that he wouldn't remember our hunt. I described the hunt to him, saying that we were bowhunting together when he took the buck that produced the antler carving now in the riser of my new bow. He didn't remember any specifics of that day, but when my mother walked up to us he pointed and said "I helped make this bow." I think I have a quote that needs to be written on the bow.
