Not sure how long you can wait, but Primos is coming out with a new bigger 2 hub version of the DB. Same great material...strong, no flap, no shine, very rip resistant. Super easy to set up.
I think they go on sale in Feb. Lower price too.

Primos is well aware of the Chinese
manufacturing problems and are busy making changes. I wouldn't buy one presently, but be patient and  the quality of old will return.

HH is FAR superior. This opinion has changed back and forth but now with 2 full seasons with both, I am convinced. I've shot turkeys out of both, but there is no way to move quickly and quietly with a DB for deer. NO WAY,

That is why DB has now supplied every major sporting goods stores with FREE rods.

I just put my two DB blinds away. Took a wrestling match to get it done. Then in less than 10 seconds I had the HH blind put away. Quietly.

You can set up a Hidden Hunter Blind in less than one minute. Theground rods are a non-issue. Lots of room as well.
The DB is a fine blind but the HH is just so quick and easy.

When the fun-crazy original owners had them, I got a DB Recurve model (6'2" center height).  Comfy with me at 6'2" and by same height buddy together in there and he went 340# then!

I'd had shoulder surgery and KNEW I couldn't put up a tree stand... I also could barely get that DB set up. I called Beemer and we talked... they admitted the hubs and fiber glass rods were 'stout' to push open and you had to orient everything to get it to go up and push HARD!

I managed to figure it out, but the amount of brushing in, then restricted to windows in front or be silhouetted inside, seemed silly... same work as making a ground blind I could shoot 360.

Since Primos took over, I read about rods falling out of hubs, being too short, and related problems and some recently claim they can't get response on warranty work from Primos---reportedly.

Good to read Primos may be addressing poor quality mfg, but that old DB is/was a pain to use, but considerably more roomy than what is reported here on more modern models!

I just ordered another Hidden Hunter...picking this one up on my way to Shrew Haven this fall, I will leave it up there. The only blind I can move/draw/shoot a longbow in. Superb quality.

I do it all the time and have for the last ten years.  First thing  do is make sur nothing os on the ground to make noise.   should want to have to move around with those metal rods on the bottom.  If t ws set up all the time a rug would be an option but I sure don't want to lug a rug around in the woods.

Beaunaro, I just talked to Bubbba at Primos customer service, and he says the new blind you mentioned will be just like the old T2, with 2 hubs. It won't come in a Recurve model, so it will be too short for me.

I sold my HH, found it cumbersome on long walks, and couldnt stand the metal rods inside on the ground.  Mike
