Chekmate and Shur-grip

I own a Chekmate Hunter, and was considering putting a shur-grip on it.

Has anyone put one a large riser like the Chekmate Hunter has?

I have one on a Chek-Mate Firebird.  The trick to getting it on a large riser is to roll it up like a donut, thread some cord thru the middle of the donut, then pull it onto the riser's bulky parts.

You may want to try a Posi-Grip from Eclipse Broadheads, they seam to be a little softer and easier to get on the bow.
