New Old Fedora 560
« on: February 27, 2011, 06:47:00 PM »
Ist post here  I Grew up hunting with recurves and kinda got away from it for awhile .  Been bitten again and I am glad I kept all my customs

I have a few Fedora's and when I picked up my old favorite which was drawing 67 pounds at my draw I realized it was kinda heavy so I called Mike and asked him to drop a few pounds off it.  He said sure so I went for a visit

While I was there I picked up this lovely 560 that draws right at 57 ponds for my draw great bow and very happy

Welcome! Beautiful bow. Stained Curley Maple?

Welcome back. Beautiful bow. I know where there is a very similar looking one that Ive been lusting over for a few years. Maybe one day I'll own her. I never could figure out what woods were used on the one Im eyeballing. Whats on yours?

Beautiful wood. Reminds me of on old flinlock stock. The kind someone like George Rogers Clark would carry.
