Suggested brace height for 62" Centaur Chimera??
« on: March 03, 2011, 09:48:00 PM »
I did a search on the pow wow forum and came up empty handed. I recently purchased my FIRST Centaur longbow and would like to know the starting point for the brace height. It is a 62" bow.

I have run a few arrows through it this evening with a BH of 7 1/4". Am I close?? Man this bow is quick!

You think that bow is fast at 7.5" ?  drop her down to 6.75".... The Centaur has got the performance going on that is tough to beat.....

it will shoot a lot sweeter at 7.25" to 7.5" and it's a lot quieter. I've had the pleasure of playing with one of these long bows.

Enjoy.   :)
