An Old Friend Back From The Bowyer
« on: March 05, 2011, 06:38:00 PM »
please post images no wider than 640

I have resized images

Getting back into shooting my traditional bows and I had a favorite 560 that I had gotten from Mike Fedora many years ago,

The Bow was 67# and I had another that pulled close so I asked Mike to lighten this one and I just got it back. It now pulls about 55 # at my draw and I am very happy

here it is and I will be using  this and a Hoyt Buffalo as my  hunting bows this year

While I was there I picked up this lovely little 560 in Tiger Maple wiyh Black Locust limbs. He had traded the bow and just refinished it . I posted this bow up betore but here are better pics

Here is a group shot of all 4

That definitely looks like a hunting bow with the camo paint.  It looks like it would be a great bow for turkey hunting.

I didn't realize that much weight could be reduced from a bow.  Everyone has always said 3-5 lbs is about the most.

I really like the Tiger Maple/Black Locust bow, I think that would be my "go to" bow in that stable!
