Luck O' the Irish Broadheads!
« on: March 06, 2011, 03:35:00 PM »
No four leaf clovers here...

But I think these three leaf versions will do!!

Nothing says old school like green broadheads!  I applied a ceramic coating to these old Snuffers and Woodsmans.  They came out great, hard and slick.  Now I gotta add some luck to my new packs. I love green heads!!

Man, that's really cool. How did you apply the coating if you don't mind my asking. Do you think it'll aid in penetration?

There's a whole process to applying the coating.  Not very cost effective unless you're coating other parts at the same time.  I doubt the coating does anything as far as penetration.  They sure do look slick though!

Spectre, those temps would put a hurt on your heat treat. (My mom was a potter)
