Bow number two..... done!
«
on:

I finished bow number two, she came out kust a shade light, but very nice. I am real happy with my glue lines and the wood combo, how she shoots.... I really am not disapointed in much at all. Still figuring out how I like to form my nocks. Don't mind making them, but haven't found my "it" nock yet. And next bow with riser overlays, I am going to try superglue instead of smooth on. Smooth On makes to much of a noticable line, super glue should be thinnner. What do you use? Good cast, QUIET, fast and boy, she really thumps. Can't wait to bloody her on my elk hunt this fall.
Cocobolo limbs (I ordered coco vineers with action boo limbs, but decided to save te extra postage and just stay with coco. Coco looks real nice as limbs by the way. Not too many coco limbs), Solid Zebra riser, 58" (57" NTN), 57# at my draw length (25.5"), 70# @ 28"

I really like that all Zebrawood riser...contrasts nicely with the coco limbs. Great looking bow.

I like it bro! Is that a Bingham plan bow with some riser modifications? or what?
I was expecting a take down recurve after you watched the film....maybe # 3 will be?

Kirk,
Nope, not a Binghams plan, something I made up from scratch. The more I shoot it the happier I am with it. Great bow, if I do say so myself. Did that video turn up yet?
Bowdork,
That roow shelf turned out much better than the previous model.
DW,
Hope they turn out great and start the nieces down a lifelong path of enjoyment.
Semper Fi,
Mike
