Hey Charlie,

Like Brad said,Fountain Grove would be close to an hour, plus it is only 20 from me!   :D

It has several pools at the duck lakes, plus a lot of carp in Lake Che-ru shootable at spawn time.

If the river is coming out of its banks, many buffalo just south of Che-ru across the RR track. You need a little boat to get there for the last 200 yds cause the water can get deeeep over the road in a hurry. This I know!   :scared:

We shot for a couple hours one day, coming out it was over the bumper on a jacked up pickup!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Chris....Porter was hinting about bowfishing the other day on the phone so I decided to see what I could come up with.

Fountain Grove sounds like a winner. Heck we might have to assemble a crew for a day or two of bowfishing.

It's a couple of hours for me (give or take)but I'm game.

Might want to see what Irish has around him.

Charlie,

I'm about 15 minutes north of St.Joe and grew up here. The first two places that come to mind is Big Lake up by squaw creek near mound city, has some big asian carp. The other is Bean Lake south of St.Joe going toward Atchison,Ks on 59 hwy. used to set trout lines there. There's Pony Express lake but not sure if they allow bowfishing for carp.

Charlie,

I will be making a home around Warrensburg after the Air Force, when I can find a job.  I have a boat, need to put some more lights around it, and would like to try this too someday.  Arthur
