New Bow
« on: March 08, 2011, 06:58:00 PM »
Just received my new Longbow in the mail today from Abe Penner at Cari-bow archery. I bought the SLynx model from his inventory list. It is the 60" 57lbs@28" Cocobolo/Ebony Flare riser with quilted Sepale limbs, tons of antler and a wood burning of a whitetail buck. To say that I am happy is an understatement. This bow is gorgeous. I was a little concerened about how it was going to fit my hand but no worries. The bow fits me like a glove, super quiet and dead in the hands. I shot the bow for about 2-3 hours today. I am shooting 540 grain arrows at an average of 165 FPS and I only have about a 26" drawlength so I figure I'm only pulling about 51 or 52lbs. I like the bow so much that I may even have to get a Silver Fox in another year or two. Just wanted to share a quick review of the bow in case someone else was intersted in his bows. They are well worth it

Thanks "Spanky", she shoots great too. Can't wait till the weather breaks so I can try her out at twenty instead of inside at ten. But it gives me plenty of practice

WOW! that is one the nicest looking bows I have seen. I know your excitement cuz I posted a while back regarding my new bow. I was amazed at how many guys sent congrads. Also, like you I did not have pics., so had to hussle. Glad that the bow is a shooter also, however that is so nice I would not take it into the woods, just use it as breed stock!!
