older takedown recurve?
« on: March 12, 2011, 04:20:00 PM »
A fellow at work brought me a older take down recurve to try out...aluminum riser with ugly brown paint. The limbs are the same color...bow is marked 65@ 28 and zips arrows with authority! It is made by to...or tq bows out of texas...that's what's on the limb. The to or tq is smudged but its one of them...anybody know anything about this thing?....I can get it for 70 bucks but......
well....let's go let the air out'a one!

The Quinn bows have been made in Texas for a long time. A good, reputable bow from what I hear. I've seen and drawn them, but never had a chance to actually shoot one. If you can handle the 65# and get it for that price, I'd say go for it.

BUy it, that is a Quinn bow, old one.  Ihave a #44 one. Best buy on the market for a takedwon recurve, great bow, for beginner or seasonsed archer. I have about 12 of them. They shoot as smooth and fast as the high dollar bows, and you can get by with a much lighter spined arrow. Pm me if you get it, need any tuning tips. Sam.
