A funny story
« on: March 14, 2011, 05:25:00 AM »
My wife went back to work at the hospital this weekend for the first time since my stay there. She saw one of the surgical crew saw her tonight and the girl asked her, "did cleve get that hawk?". Jenny was bewildered by the question and asked her what she was talkin about. Apparently when I was waking up after surgery my drug clouded mind became convinced that a hawk had caused the wound I had, which was the incision and that hawk was going to Jenny and my duaghter. They tried to explain to me what was going on and I replied, "somebody get me my damn bow and my huntin arras with the broadheads so I can kill that damn thing before it gets my family". I guess the hunt is always on your  mind to some degree LOL. I got a laugh maybe ya'll will to.

I see your story as living proof that man was born "A Hunter".

It's no wonder that anytime and every time we are asked to justify why we do what we do, we are just a little bewildered....lol

Thanks for sharing Cleve!

Keep healing buddy and you'll be back at it in no time.

God bless,Mudd

Thats cool makes me think of the time when I had a cousin that that was put under for his arm. And when he woke he kept asking for a rag to get the blood off his hands from the elk the just gutted.

I've got over a year before my bear hunt in Alberta and I.ve allready kiled dozens of bears in my sleep. By the time I'm ready to go there won't be any bears left. My dreams are not even drug induced.

It is funny how our subconcious works.  I hunt in dreams ALOT!  Not every night, but very often.
