TallTines goes native... island style.
« on: March 15, 2011, 02:12:00 AM »
So my sis calls to tell me I got another box... she emphasizes "another" since she knows what it is... in the 8yrs that I lived with her she has seen many boxes pass through the mail and knows which ones are VIB's... Very Important Boxes. Please excuse my craptastic photos... my camera has never been the same since I took it on a vacation trip to L.A. last year... that place is crazy... so Blackberry pics will have to suffice.

The box...

IT'S A BOW!!!

With antler limb bolts even...

Thank you Brian Wessel... like I told you... even if there was a tsunami coming in today I would still get my bow from the mail... even if I had to paddle out on my surfboard to get it!

58" TallTines, Walnut riser & Camo'd limbs... I am one happy island monkey.

What is this "extra" you speak of Jerry? Hope things are all good for you after the tsunami.

There are only bow"s"... no extras... maybe an extra scoop rice or mac salad but no extra bows, lol.

I miss having a lot of bows and no money... good times... working my way back slowly.

Congrats on a fine bow.  What's the draw weight?

I just ordered a new TT T/D recurve last week.  It'll be Rosewood Dymondwood riser with the Walnut Dymondwood for the center accent.  The limbs will be Actionboo with Claro Walnut veneers.  It'll be 62" and 46#@28".  The patient wait has begun!  :)

Draw weight is 64#@28"... I draw 25"... maybe a hair more... whatever weight I am pulling is smooth... I mean buttery smooth... so buttery I feel my cholesterol levels rising.
