« on: March 20, 2011, 03:13:00 PM »
I am shooting a Samick Sage bow that is 50 pounds at my 28in draw length.I want to shoot wood arrows and A 200 grain broadhead but dont know which spine arrow to get.I want a finished arrow of about 29 or 30 inches. What spine would you want to buy to get where I want to be?

You will need at least 75-80 spine woods. I'm not real sure as I have never used 200 heads.

Try Stu's calculater. Maybe 75-80 is a bit high?

I believe Shedrock is darn close, leave the shaft 31"s bop and shoot it, if a bit weak cut it back 3/4" and try again. I believe 30" bop with 200 up front in a 75-80 spine would get ya darn close. If you would like I have some 77# cut to 29.5" bop I could send ya a couple and try them, no charge and keep'em. Just PM me your addy and I will get them out to ya tomorrow. Hate to see ya spend a bunch experimenting! Shawn
