I had the opportunity to shoot a Crow Creek Black Feather at the STAR shoot this weekend and it was SWEET. Can anyone give me some more information on these bows and Elmers contact info? Thanks This was one of the smoothest drawing longbows I have shot, not to mention dead in the hand, Good Speed and ACCURATE.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago and really like it. His phone number is: 870-238-8124 . I'll have mine with me at ATAR - if you make it there you can check it out...
By the way, I(Wally) shot the coon shoot with you last year at ATAR - I was shooting the Black Widow - and was with my wife, James Wrenn and Bernie.

Ron,
I have a Blackfeather and understand why you want one. They are sweet bows. Give Elmer a call. There are some numbers posted on another thread for dealers that carry his bows in stock. Might be faster getting one.

I've got a black feather Elmer built for me last year and as you've seen they are a sweet shooter. You won't be dissappointed and Elmer is a super nice guy to deal with.

Elmer has bows around the shop quite often. His bows are limb specific, they only fit the riser they were built for, so if you want more than one weight get it from him and have them made before he ships. Do it soon, I am not sure how much longer he will be making them.

I'm shipping mine to him very soon to have him build a new set of limbs, or to reduce the existing set 2 or 3#. I'm also going to have him reshape the backside of the riser in the grip area a bit by rounding it where my fingers curl around the back off window side.
I've been looking for a longbow I can shoot consistently accurate for the better part of 7 years. I now have 2 of them in the Crow Creek Black Feather and my Fox Royal Crown 1-piece longbow.

I don't know Ron...The way I saw you shoot that machined monster Sunday, I imagine a pair of carbon limbs are in your future.
