When I tried to reply to an add in the sponsor's classifieds I was told----YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO BE HERE.-----What am I missing ? or What am I doing wrong? This was when I was trying to send a quick reply just as I usually do.

I think only the sponsors can post but you can reply to a sponsor's post via PM.

Yes....that is correct.

What we wanted was a place for Sponsors to post items for sale and members to email them directly for purchase.

What we didn't want was to have the Sponsors feeling like they had to come here everyday to see if someone posted on their thread.  Sponsors check emails every day as part of their routine so they will get inquiries from the forum.  No need in them having the burden of having to check the forum everyday.

Make sense?

thanks for the clear up TG.
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.
