haversack???
« on: March 29, 2011, 10:22:00 PM »
A small haversack or Possible bag a place for my deer tag, a pen and a sharpening steel on the out side

I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

What is the measurements of the bag? Thought I would build one myself some day. Maybe even throw in a quiver mounted to the flap somehow. Jon

I like that one. Having dedicated spots for a pen and Deer Tag shows maximum confidence. Good Mojo!

Very nice and functional. I've carried a WW2 mussette bag for lots of years for lots of different functions. Also practical.

Oh, don't let that good looking knife slip out.  I lost a very nice damascus blade knife last fall on my first trip up the mountain when it slipped out of its sheath that was attached to my haversack.  I am still angry at myself for losing that knife!
