It seems like I read something a while back about Monty Browning coming out with a book soon. Does anyone know anything about that? I think he's one of the finest writers there is.

Ditto on that one mate, IMHO he is one of the best there is in the circle of outdoor writers.
I too hope he's putting together a book on his lifes hunts. I'd buy two stright up.

I would love to read a book by Monty. I heard him speak at the Traditional Expo Michigan a couple of years ago... let me tell you, that guy is a heck of a good story teller

There is no nudgeing Monty. He's retired now and working his own schedule and I am very jealous. I will give him a call and see if I can get a status report.

I talked with Monty a week or two ago...he sent me some more pics for use in my powerpoint program. I wrote a new song, inspired by his "Solitude" stories. He did indeed hint about his book, and like Rick says, he'll do it when he does it. I've been prodding him for a few years also.

i know a lot of you are not record book interested, but Monty will be the speaker for the saturday night shindig at the up comming P&Y gathering in PA. hearing him speak is worth the price of the ticket.

Monty is the real deal , not to mention a real gentleman . Not a better speaker out there, if you have a chance to hear him speak GO!
