Is JD Jones ,Genesis bows still around? Does anyone have a phenom, and what do you think of non glass bows?

Great bow. His website is still up but he usually builds in the summer.  I have 2 of his bows and they shoot as good as fiberglass bows of the same profile only quiter.  He goes by horseapple on this site.

I talk with J.D. off and on and he's doing fine.  Said he was going to make a few bows this summer.  Haven't heard from him in a couple of months though.  Probably out turkey hunting now.
