Not usually one to post something like this but am interested in your opinions. I'm going to invest in 2 dozen shafts and wabt some input on what woodies to build either tapered poplar which I almost always build, or tapered ramin wood. both would be 11/32 to 5/16.
Also what to you think feather wise. 3 fletched orange barred, red barred or yellow barred or some other suggestions. No cresting involved here. Tell me what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

I personally like orange and barred or any combo.
Here's some I made.

I like bright, so for feathers I would go with 3 white or 3 bright yellow. I did a couple wood years ago with orange crown and 3 white feathers which I thought looked great.
You mentioned you were getting 2 doz shafts. I would put them in groups of 4 and have fun doing each group different. That way you can try all the diff combos you like. Have fun and enjoy.

Color is whatever you see best, for me it is Flo. Orange. If you have problems nocking arrows, then perhaps a barred Flo. Orange for the cock feather.
POC, Spruce, Ramin, whatever, the spine consistancy is what matters. Find the quality you like ... for me it is XX75 aluminum because it is what I can shoot most consistently.

I like barred red with index white nocks , the nocks show well on the target.. I just clear poly the shafts with no crest , simple but still looks nice.

I fletched 3 doz. with red barred and they looked great, but they were pretty hard for me to see in the woods. I wound up using them for backyard practice and went back to yellow for most of my arrows.
