I am new to hunting turkeys with a bow and was wondering if the woodsman elite heads would be a good match for turkeys

If it's sharp, it will work.

If your accurate with them than hunt with them.  Turkeys have a very small vital area, check out the anatomy charts on the top of the pow wow thread.

If you are shooting the 100 or 125 Woodsman Elite then there should be no difference than the Woodsman.

The heavier Woodsmans Elites will cut a larger hole.

For turkeys...Immobilization is key.

That is the truth.  I had to chase one down a few years back to retrieve my arrow.  It wasn't pretty.  A fat man running thru the woods in a ghilli suit chasing a Thunderchicken.
