Mounting 4 blade Magnus on wood shafts

How do you guys mount these on wood shafts?  I have only shot the 2 blade but was thinking of trying the 4 blade this year but was wondering how you deal with the bleeder blade with the wood taper.

Brian, I took a coping saw blade and snipped the end off then mounted the head and then sawed through were the bleeder goes. A friend of mine just makes his tapers real short. I like my method better.

Tons of ways to skin that cat...

Dry mount the head and mark through the slot with a very sharp pencil, then take off the head and ...

use a band saw... very quick

use a Dremel... also quick

use a Hacksaw...not as quick

use a Coping saw...also not as quick

Try Brutus method... sounds like a winner to me.

If you use any of the dry mount and remove methods, put a bleeder blade part way in the head when mounting them back on the shaft to help with alignment of slot.
