The Unknowing and or tourist can get very hurt. Banff, Alberta, Canada has the same problem with Elk. We heard of a young lady , who is a runner. Was gored will running up in Banff. She survived luckily.

Looks like Estes Park to me....  :thumbsup:  

Fantastic place to take a family vacation with the east gate of Rocky Mountain NP right at the edge of town.

Here's a few photos of town last summer!
