Take down sleeves 3rivers

3 rivers offers takedown sleeve conversion kits for around 30dollars. Has anyone used one of these on a longbow like a bear Montana? Thanks merle

I am just finishing up a take down osage selfbow using the take down sleeve.I think I would be reluctant to cut a perfectly good bow in half.I am sure there are more experienced bowyers out there who can give you additional advice.This site is a gold mine of info and talented people.Try posting on The Bowyers Bench forum.glen
