I have a 62" TD silvertip recurve (awesome bow), How would a one piece compare. Those of you that have owned or tried them, what are your opinions? Any pics would be nice. thanks

I really enjoy shooting my 1 piece Silvertip. I have 3 t/d tips and two 1 piece recurves. One is 58" and the other is 60". For some reason the 58" bow appears to out perform the 60" bow. I really like hunting whitetails with a 1 piece curve out of a tree stand, they are simplistic, quick pointing and quiet!
Here are a few pics of my 58" Tip

This is my 60" Tip, A stunning piece of Bacote! I am kind of smitten with Camo limbs too   :)

Own ed a one-piece a few years back and a couple T/Ds. I prefer the one-piece but that is me, as far as perfromance and such no noticeanle difference. All great shooter, the one piece was quieter for some reason, could be it was dacron only but great shooter. I would love to have it back, think I sold it to a guy in Canada. Shawn

I love mine, it's 52#@28" 60" standard rosewood. It is the perfect weight with my GN quiver attached, whisper quiet, and the checkered grip is imo the best! The grip is a little thinner than my takedown Silvertip, and fits just right. She also flings an arrow with authority, with a 8 strand SBD string.

I love the Silverip one piece a lot, and that's why my name is on the list for another. I'm thinking it is time for a charcoal gray one!!

Kevin, those are beauties for sure!

They are both really fantastic. I have one of each. If you do a search, you should be able to find plenty of pictures.

I own 2 Silvertip TDs and 1 one-piece. My initial reaction to the one-piece was how much less mass it had. The bow feels rather delicate in my hand...you just can't get that from a picture. The physical weight of mine is much, much less than my TD bows. The quality is absolutely superb, per usual.
