View from my natural blind turkey hunt.
« on: April 21, 2011, 07:37:00 PM »
This is the view from my ground blind this morning, we call it the Hidey Hole.  Had a jake come in to about 40 yards(jakes are not legal here this year) and a hen came in to about 20 yards.  Worked a big tom off and on all morning, just couldn't finish the deal.  Back at it on Saturday with my son.  Wish those in the pictures were feathered instead of plastic (10 yards).

This is the view from the field.  The blind is stacked up about 3 feet and makes a half moon.  We've had 3 people in the blind.  Last year a hen walked on the limbs of the blind while my son and and I were hunting, she never knew we were there.  You talking about cool.

I like it.  I need to get out and prep a few spots for deer hunting next year. I like to build up my blinds with old logs and sticks before season. With hopes that some grass will grow up into it and break it up even more.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
