Does anyone read this anymore? I do
« on: April 24, 2011, 11:58:00 AM »
Tradgang.com is 100% totally devoted to traditional bowhunting. The 3 goals of Tradgang.com are as follows ...

1. To offer a public access website for those that love the sport of hunting with traditional archery equipment - i.e., selfbows, longbows, and recurves.

2. To create a friendly atmosphere to all. Dedicated to the discussion of all topics that relate to traditional bowhunting.

3. To support traditional bowhunting and archery manufacturers, vendors, services and organizations - good folks that have their hearts and souls poured into the sport.

Expect to be respected if you decide to join the gang, because the rule of respect is held highest of the few rules that apply. Tradgang.com has a zero tolerance for disrespect directed to anyone. If you want to disagree, then please do so in an adult manner. Debate is healthy, as one sword sharpens another, but it must be done in an honorable fashion.

I joined this site after reading this, I thought it was very cool and made it stand out from the rest.
I want to thank the guys that keep this site up and running, I know it’s a thankful job been there done that. I hope the complaining of a few don’t stop you from keeping this site as one of the best.
I think if people have a problem with the rules or guidelines of this site just need to go back and read the front page. They seem to forgot what this site is all about
Thanks Robert
Hopefully you will see me as a better person today than I was yesterday..

Nice to be reminded. Have mailed Terry my personal convictions & appreciation for the site numerous times through the years. Best of all is the small (if any) amount of bickering found so much on other sites. Entirely due to this mission statement above & the site's range riders (mods). Good folks here don't come from smoke & mirrors. Hope it doesn't change.

Thanks Mods, Buddy Bell

Simple and easy to follow!
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

I agree.  Tradgang has helped me grow as a traditonal shooter.  I got started because of a hunting partner of mine but this site has allowed me to tackle the massive task of getting the right equipment and technique.  When I started out I was amazed by the honesty and respect found here.  I have seen it with both my bow purchases and chat.

Thanks.

One of the best ways to deal with a controversy with and individual is to first go with a private message.  It allows you to work out what may be a simple misread without getting the ego too involved.

Once it gets public and pride gets involved, it's hard to unwind the tension.

Agreed... I came here to learn about trad, however what I have found is the people are helpful in general! More importantly, there is know bashing caused by what you shoot or asking a question that is in the spirit of learning...

Good Afternoon ! Thank you Robert for the reminder , I've read the rules before and the rules are still the same for me. This my only site for Trad Archery research, stories about trad archery, friends that do trad archery. The opinions of the majority are the same on this site being truthful, showing respect, using common sense. Don't change anything, when it is already Perfect. Maxx
