If it wouldn't have been Sunday I would have been there. working 3rd shift forces me to sleep Sunday afternoons.

"FEAR THE MAN WITH ONE BOW." You've got it! I'm gonna quit screwing around and and stick with my favorite Vortex for the rest of the season. Congrats, Carl

I shot the coarse at Blackhawk with one a couple years ago.  If I didnt already own a couple of 54" recurves, I would have bought that one.  Very fast and easy to control accurately.  I have a sensitive elbow and have passed on other well known longbows, but that one didnt bother me at all.

Came close to driving up there this weekend.  Sounds like you had some pleasant temperatures compared to the lower part of the state.  Always love spending a weekend with everyone at Blackhawk Field Archers.  Craig
