who makes the best 3d broadhead target

i like to shoot broadheads a lot. i have a morrel yellow jacket broadhead target but i want to get a 3d target that holds up well too.

I have had good luck with the Mackensie carbon buck target. But after three months of 160 grain Snuffers  it needed a new midsection. If you have any friends who belong to archery clubs you might get a good deal on a used target.

yellow Jacket the best I have used have had lots of others they all are not as good or last as long

once you shoot a hole in the 3-D target you can fill it with great stuff Insulating foam, befor it gets to bad and it can be used indefinatly

For the price, the Yellow Jacket is very good, and I really like mine.  But,the Rinehart 18-1 is better in durability I think.  It just hurts more to buy it at first though because it it about 3 times as much money.

Wife and kids just got me a RH broadhead buck last week for father's day, Herb.  Good to know it is as good as the 18-1!

I would suggest the cheapest one you can find, because in my opinion, ANY target shot on a regular basis with broadheads is gonna soon be shot out. The layered type targets will be easier to remove arrows from, but you will ruin one pretty quickly with sharp broadheads.IMO

I have a rhinehart 18-1 that is AWESOME and just bought one of their broadhead bucks.  I have a mckenzie broadhead bear but the rhineharts are far better. dino

I shot the Maverick Mountain 3-D shoot Sat. & I can tell you the Rhinehart targets were far easier to remove my woodies from.You could see where the arrow hole was after you pulled it out & it was trying to seal itself. I'd vote them the best. I am told they will last longer than other targets by twice by the fellows who buy them for the shoots. I believe Mike G. is a sponsor here & a Rhinehart dealer. He is a great fellow to deal with. Frank

Rhinehart without a doubt. That 18-1 ball sure is interesting. Looks like an excellent tree stand target.

Does anyone know what makes the Rinehart "Broadhead Buck" a broadhead target? Is it made differently than the other Rineharts? According to the retail price list, the broadhead buck is about half the cost of most other Rinehart deer targets.

Not sure, but I do know it is a pretty small target.  Not really lifesized, so maybe that is it.
