Fur and Quivers?
« on: April 27, 2011, 10:54:00 AM »
I have a fox face that I want to put on my back quiver. Any suggestions on how to attach it? Thanks.

Artificial sinew (or real) and a needle.Or maybe a heavy waxed thread would work as well. Would like to see what you come up with when finished.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

I recently used a wide leather strap contact cemented inside the neck with a few stitches thrown on for good measure. I thne contact cemented and stitched the strap to the inside of the quiver.

Yep, just tack it in, the fur will hide the stitching....
