Jim's New Bamabows Expedition
« on: April 28, 2011, 10:53:00 PM »
My new bow came in today and I am blown away.  I talked to Nate and he said he is becoming a sponsor so I decided to shine it for you if I can get the pics on here.

The pics may not be too good because I used a phone.  This is the best bow I have ever had in my hand besides being knockout beautiful.  It shoots like a dream.  Nate out did himself this time.  Nice guy and can take a lot of nagging while you are waiting for your bow.

That thing sure is nice, what are the specs? I've been considering one of those or a MOAB for my first custom. I'm thinking it's going to be a tough decision.

This one is 47# at 29" and 58" long.  I shot about 70 arrows through it and I never noticed any finger pinch which was a concern for me with a shorter bow.  Nate has a new deal going too which worked good for me: for a return customer he gives a 10% discount now.  I am just tickled to peices with it.  I can't think of one negative thing about it except the wife is pissed-off about having to sleep on the couch tonight-she'll get over it though.

Nice looking bow and nice profile...I can say this much "The Man takes good care on how he ships his customer bows"! This beats the cardboard and to be honest if I was a bowyer I would precut loads of 1/4" underlayment and buy bulk packs of pine and box's of screws....Can't cost as much as P.V.C. and if your bows are recurved or heavy reflex/deflex most won't fit tubes anyway so why not build a box like this? This just shows me the guy takes Much pride in his Customers bows and making certain the bow arrives safely...Nate you deserve a Pat on the back for your shipping method...This has got to go in the "How a Bow should be shipped" that Rob started...Just down right Customer Care if you ask me...God Bless, Keefer's <")))><

Congrats on the bow.  I just took a look at the video on their web site.  The hybrid longbow was shooting fire!

Spot-On Keefer! That was the first thing I noticed, how it was boxed. The box even has great wood, looks Spalted! Lol! Nate is a Class-Act.

Jim, that is a stunning bow! The grain in those limbs is superb, and I'm loving the design. Congrats on a Sweet Bow! Hats-Off to Nate on a masterpiece.

P.S. I just got a new to me Big Jim Buffalo that came in a box so flimsy that one of the tips was actually sticking out the end, bare! Thanks God, somehow the bow was still in perfect condition. We got lucky this time, but I'm even more impressed by Nate's packing after just seeing the one I got.
