CO Units 47/48?
« on: June 22, 2007, 09:37:00 AM »
I'll be deer hunting there in a couple of months.  Is there any tradganger knowledge of these units you'd be willing share in a PM?  I'll be going solo and staying high.  Info on trailheads, where the masses will be, lakes that hold trout etc would be the kind of info I'm after.  This is the White River Nat Forest between Aspen and Leadville.
Thanks!

DB -- I don't know if you've received any PMs with help, and I wish I could help you, but I don't know those units other than driving through there once in a while. What I can say is that it's gorgeous country full of game and fish, and you are doing it right -- going alone, and apparently backpacking or other muscle-powered access that gets you away from the motorized mobs. I wish you luck and bet you'll find some. dave

Thanks Dave!  No details yet but glad someone else shares my faith!
