2x ash and was good quality,1x hickory and had to do straightening.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

You would be hard pressed to find better hardwood shafts.  I like his laminated birch too.

I would like to try Bill's ASH.  I was on the verge of buying some at Kzoo, but I opted to have this one guy put a leather grip on my RER.

You did a great job Chuck.  Will we see you at the Spring Shoot next weekend.

I had a great experience dealing with them on a set of ash arrows.  Expect a top quality product to arrive at your door.   After 2 years I finally broke down and re fletched the arrows I had left.  (i lost a few and robin hooded another).  I found the ash to be pretty reliable.  I will order more from AMAW when the time comes.

I always buy my ash shafts from him. With ash however you are lucky to get 9 out of 12 quality shafts as far as I am concerned.

I just got my hickory shafts from them on Friday. Good people to deal with. I like their prices and they ship out really quick without jacking the shipping costs. Hickory leaves something to be desired and are not as nice as douglas fir or poc but I really just needed something durable.

I am still shooting my ash shafts, went from around 525 grains on a POC shaft with 125 up front; and the ash came in around 650, but the longbow really shoots em well.
