weighting a carbon arrow

Am shooting gold tips cut to 25.5 inches with 100 grain brass inserts and a 270 grain centaur big game head for a total weight of 610 grains. I would like to bump this up about 100 grains without messin up arrow flight.  I have tried weight tubes and they make my arrows fly terrrible.  Have any of you had any success with adding rope or sting or anything else to get the weight up without hurting arrow flight?

I weight my carbons with weedeater cord, If you do a search there is a good thread on here about weighting carbons. I use three pieces of .080 weedeater cord wrapped in a single strand of yarn. I tape the yarn to the cord at one end and start it into the shaft, then as I feed the cord into the shaft i wrap the yarn around in an @ 1/2" spiral and tape the yarn to the cord at the nock end also the tape will keep the yarn in place throughout the life of the arrow. I put all three cords in at once with one piece of yarn around the cords. The yarn keeps the cord silenced . This has worked very well for me.

3 Rivers weight tubes work good. They're kind of pricey but they're more consistent & a better fit than weedeater or aquarium tubing... plus they give you a couple of weight options.
