See it here first. The Black Swan HP Recurve
« on: May 03, 2011, 12:28:00 PM »
This will be in a future TBM issue but Trad Gang members get first peek.

"The Black Swan HP Recurve is a result of CAD work and many years of R&D.
It more efficiently utilizes the unique energy characteristics of
carbon. Made with pure carbon on the back, carbon and
ceramic composite on the belly and syntactic foam core and
Linen phenolic butt wedges, and nock tip end overlays and
wedges of glass. This makes a very fast a durable bow, easy
to tune, it shoot accurately and consistently, with a rated
AMO speed of 215 FPS. It comes in 58 and 62-inch lengths.
The price is $950.00 USD"

4 week wait time right now.

The full line up of limbs and risers.

I resized it on Photobucket but it didn't take. SO I did it on my computer and reloaded.

Besides looking cool, is there a mechanical advantage to the reflex/deflex-reflex/deflex limb shown in the picture?

Best thing to do is to call Arvid for the tech details. 520-241-3655

The risers are set-up so that you get the same draw weight from the same set of limbs on either length. You also get the same angles on the short riser as the long so a long draw can shoot the short riser.

I doubt he'll be at Denton this year. It's a long trip from AZ and expensive to get the gear there with gas where it is right now. I will be there and have a few bows with me.
