New bow for elk... Martin Hunter
« on: May 11, 2011, 05:38:00 PM »
Fed Ex dropped off my new toy today. It is a 2010 Martin Hunter that I picked up new in the box for a good price. 55@28. Riser is shedua and bubinga. Now all I need is an elk to cooperate!   :D

Shawn that looks too purdy to be taking out in  the woods, maybe needs to be dirtied up a little first.

Bob, I guess I could let my five year old drag it around the yard for a couple hours. That ought to do it! It is a good looking bow and the grip is comfy.

Well if you get up this way this summer we could take it out and try and get a scrape or two on it. It is always cooler up here than in Kansas too!

Those Hunters are good bows,I had one that I had to let go because it was getting a bit heavy for my old shoulders. Man that bow really sent an arrow down range. Good luck getting after those Elk!!!

That bow looks like it might be the cousin of mine! I've got a Martin Hunter 50#@28.

An excellent choice sir...though I may be biased.

Been waiting for someone to post on a new Hunter. I picked one up at Cabelas in January and didn't want to shoot it because I figgered I'd like it, and then have to get it.

Great looking bow!
