Hang up your woodies!

This is how I hang my wood arrows while dippin'em.I get a dozen of the big wire nuts electricians use, screw some small cup hooks in the top of the nut, then screw the wire nut on one of the tapered ends and hang.Doesn't seem to matter which end I thread the nut on. I haven't had one slip off yet.Hope this helps.

Photo perhaps?
Sounds like the perfect minimalist idea.

Visualize, Rik!
but I have to admit, photos are cool!
Great idea dcmeckel. That sounds like it would work better than the rack with clips that I have set up for use. I have a big jug of wire nuts left over from my remodel, so a change may be in order.

Good idea. I use the small binder clips, and hang it from a nail over a drip tray.

what gauge did you use for what size shafts?
good call too! i planned on using a drop of CA on the end of a bent piece of plastic hanger , but this might be easier!

I use clothespins with a small hole drilled in one "ear" for hanging on a finishing nail. I like mooseman1967's idea of using the wire nuts for gasket lacquer dipping- I'll have to give that a try! My fingers get cramps from trying to hold the tapered ends, and GL is a skin irritant.

I use clothes pins with drilled ends. Went out this morning and LOVE your idea. Plus it scores the nock end for better glue adherence. Thx
