Yeah, NJ is everybody's favorite place to leave.Personally I feel the hunting seasons are too long, too much emphasis on total kill, too many young bucks and shed bucks getting killed.
Geographicaly, NW NJ, where I live and have spent most of my life, is a great place. And,being the 7th generation to own and tread on my hunting land makes it tough to leave.
2011 marks the last year I will buy a resident bowhunting license-MT here I come, again. Lived there in the 70's. Liberals are trying to ruin the hunting there too, with wolf re-introduction... but at least the rest of my daily life won't be over-regulated like it is here.
Enough about me, Good Luck in AK Bro, and Thank You for your service.
