Had a Ballistik refinished 2 years ago in matte - very pleased.

For me a matte of flat finish is essential for hunting bows.I can remember, as a kid, when I first started hunting I was sitting and looking into the woods. I saw what looked like someone shinning a mirror about 75 or 100 yards away from me. After a bit it moved and I could see it was another bow hunter and the glare from his high gloss finish bow was nothing more than something that was thwarting any game that would be coming his way. I've never owned a bow like that and if I did it got camoed painted real fast.

Tim I have a non glare buff bow and love it for the hunt.
I just find that the beauty of the veneers is somewhat obscured.
Next one will be "non matt" just to enjoy the Big Man incredible exotics

Nice matt finish on my Palmer, and that is the one for hunting.

Good luck with it.
