ok as soon as i can pull back 40 or so pounds i would like to get a custom bow, but my problem is every bowyers website has something that i would be toatally happy with, (unfortunately i can't get every bow i want  :(  ) So my question is how do you choose what bow to get? Thanks  :archer:

Go to a big shoot with lots of vendors and shoot a few to see which you like best.  The craftsmanship among custom bowyers is all pretty good (otherwise they wouldn't sell any), so what you select comes down to how well a bowyers design works for you.  You can always get whatever type of wood you like to make it suit your desired asthetics.

Go cut some staves and start makin' your own.   ;)

Just kidding, although you can do that too.  I've made several and love it but still want a "few" from guys on here.  It'll be a while though.

I have to agree, try as many as you can of diffrent bowyers and styles until you find something that fits you best. Not all bows fit all peoples likes and dislikes.Dont get in a rush, take your time. Also, call the bowyers you have on your likes list and ask questions you have about the bows they make.
Just my 2 cents
